My name is Aaron Buckthought. I am 26 years old and live in the beautiful capital of New Zealand, Wellington.
I have a Bachelor of Computing Systems and enjoying learning the 'ins and outs' of new programming languages. My focus is to provide a great user experience across all platforms.
You can see some of my work in the portfolio below.
I am developing my knowledge of mobile development. New apps will be appearing here soon.
I started creating websites under the name JumpGate Web Design.
I setup sites for numerous companies around the Bay of Plenty region including Zealandier Tours, Kreative Art FX, Airlie Lodge and personal websites for members of Professionals Real Estate.
I have a passion for mobile development. I can see handheld devices becoming our main systems in a few years time and would love to be right there on the leading edge.
I am now creating apps for Android. Check back for more information and links to the Google Play Store.
I enjoy innovation and utilizing the latest standards in web development.
I developed this CMS system for use in websites I had created where the client wanted to update the information on pages themselves.
I used PHP, MySQL and a whole lot of jQuery so everything happened dynamically. Each area on the CMS system was created so that I could add the 'module' on their site and the system would pick it up and add it into all menus and allow access.
JumpGate Web Design was the name I have been using while creating websites.
I originally setup sites for numerous companies around the Bay of Plenty region including Zealandier Tours, Kreative Art FX, personal websites for members of Professionals Real Estate and Airlie Lodge.
